Namibia Airports Company (NAC) confirms that data unlawfully obtained during the recent cybersecurity incident has been released on the dark web. Preliminary assessments indicate that the data set includes airport permit system files, parking management databases, engineering and project documents, financial records, and certain internal reports.
NAC is actively verifying the scope of this exposure to establish whether sensitive or personal information has been compromised. Immediate containment measures were implemented following the incident, and additional safeguards have been deployed to strengthen our defenses.

We wish to reassure our stakeholders that the airport operation as well as the airport safety and security remains unaffected. NAC continues to prioritise resilience, accountability, and the trust of our stakeholders.
