POLICY

The Namibia Airports Company staff and associates shall maintain a high code of conduct, professionalism, transparency and neutrality in making procurements, irrespective of the value of the procurements. Conflict of interest situations involving staff/associates and their families, business associates and friends shall be avoided or declared. In the event of possible conflicts of interest being foreseen, immediate disclosure of such potential interest must be made to the incumbent’s supervisor. No gratuities, favours or anything of monetary value other than token gifts may be solicited or accepted from contractors or potential contractors.

All procurement transactions shall be conducted in the manner to provide, to the maximum extent practical, open and free competition, the most appropriate goods and/or services, including after-sales support, and the best value for money. Any and all offers may be rejected if the above conditions have not been adequately met.

Description

Namibia Airports Company (NAC) Limited hereby informs all potential bidders that, all Requests for Sealed Quotations as per section 32 of the Public Procurement Act, Act 15 of 2015 will be advertised on the NAC website (www.airports.com.na), Twitter account and Facebook page platforms with effect from 25 January 2021. Potential bidders are therefore encouraged to monitor these platforms on a regular basis.

The bidding documents in respect of Request for Sealed Quotations can be downloaded free of charge from the said platforms.

Moreover, kindly be informed that adverts pertaining to Open Advertised bidding (Open National Bidding, Open International Bidding) and Request for Proposal methods of procurement prescribed in section 28, 29, 30 and 35 of the Public Procurement Act, Act 15 of 2015 as required by the same Act will continue to be placed on the above mentioned platforms as well as in local newspapers of wide circulation and where applicable in international media.
