19 Jun 2020

Namibia Airports Company (NAC) hereby wish to inform the public after applying our risk management procedures, we have taken a decision to revert back to Phase 1 of the lockdown work measures under the State of Emergency as was declared by the Head of State, Dr. Hage G. Geingob in March 2020.

The NAC Head Office lockdown will be for 14 days with effect from 22 June 2020 until 6 July 2020.

This decision comes after careful consideration of the possible risk of exposure as one of our employees that works at the Head Office resides at 77 on Independence that was reported as one of the places COVID -19 case 33 visited.

We urge all stakeholders to interact with us via email, cell phones and other available means of communications as we continue to render service.
