Namibia airports company (nac) new management development programme graduation ceremony

The Namibia Airports Company held its second New Management Development Programme (MDP) graduation ceremony on Friday, 04 March 2016 at the Avani Hotel, Windhoek at which twenty three (23) management staff received certificates. The programme was facilitated by the University of Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development (USB-ED).

Speaking on behalf of CEO, Mrs. Toska Sem, Strategic Executive: Business Strategy said the event is a demonstration of the NAC’s endeavors to accomplish its sixth strategic priority area of the NAC Strategic Plan which focusses on the improvement of staff morale and productivity to attain 90% of corporate planned results. 

Congratulating the graduates, she implored them to strive for a culture of high performance and customer service excellence.

She said: “The NAC is currently focusing on means to bring about improvement in the areas of performance management, customer service and diversity as we are operating in an industry that is highly regulated and highly service oriented. Hence, we are committed to provide relevant training and development to address skills deficits and developmental challenges of our employees. I have great expectation from all of you to ensure that we cement a high performance culture within the organization with your newly acquired skills and knowledge.”

Dan Kamati, Marketing Manager received the Director’s Award for top student, while the Vultures Group received honors for the top performing group.
