The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) is aware that the INC Ransomware Group has exfiltrated 500 GB of NAC data, as detected on 6 March 2026, which they intend to release on the dark web.

At this stage, investigations are ongoing, and crucially, airport operations across NAC-managed facilities remain functional.

As a precautionary measure, NAC continues to strengthen system security and monitoring, engage relevant authorities and cybersecurity partners, in addressing this matter.

NAC takes this incident seriously and reiterates its commitment to transparency and will provide further updates as and when credible evidence emerges.
