 Lady Pohamba Private Hospital donates wheelchairs to the Namibia Airports Company

Windhoek

14th November 2017

The Lady Pohamba Private Hospital today donated four brand new wheelchairs to the Namibia Airports Company at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, bringing the total amount of wheelchairs donated this far to eight.

During the donation event, organized by the Lady Pohamba Private Hospital, Ms. ‘Hannelie Botha, General Manager at LPPH, underlined that the Hosea Kutako International Airport does not only serve as a platform for the movement of a great number of passengers and cargo; it also contributes to the social life, economy, and education of the local communities.

Ms. Botha went on to further state “We as Lady Pohamba Private Hospital want to help and as a key partner of NAC we saw the state of your wheelchairs and wanted to assist.”

Mr. Norman Pule, the Acting Strategic Executive for HKIA thanked the Lady Pohamba Private Hospital for their very generous donation and said that it is a huge relief to the NAC Staff and ground handlers to be able to comfortably assist passengers with special needs traveling through HKIA.
