FLY Angola commenced a new service connecting Windhoek to Luanda via Benguela on 21 December 2024:
Air Connect Namibia welcomes the introduction of the route, which will increase regional integration, as FLY Angola connects Windhoek in Namibia with Luanda, the Vibrant City that never sleeps, Angola’s capital.
On 21 December 2024, FLY Angola started to operate a thrice-weekly service connecting Luanda International Airport (LAD) in Luanda, to Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) in Windhoek via Benguela Catumbela Airport (CBT) in Angola.
Luanda is Angola’s most populous city, with over 8 million inhabitants. The city is known for its beautiful beaches, including the famous Luanda Island Beach, a popular tourist destination. The new route will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
nguela is a coastal town located in southern Angola. It is known for its beautiful beaches, including the popular Baía Azul beach. The city also has important industrial facilities, such as the Lobito Refinery. Visitors to Benguela can enjoy delicious seafood, explore the surrounding natural beauty, and experience the rich local culture.
