Notice to All Debtors

Namibia Airports Company (NAC) hereby wishes to inform its customers of its resolution to take appropriate action against defaulting debtors. These actions have been prompted by long overdue accounts, which have continued to hamper the company’s ability to sustainably deliver on its mandate to the nation. As part of this exercise, debtors are encouraged to immediately approach NAC to resolve any account issues which they might have, settle any outstanding balances, and/or furnish NAC with an enforceable payment plan of no more than six (6) months before 30 June 2021.

This resolution which will come into effect on 1 July 2021 will include, and not be limited to the following actions:
  1. Eviction of defaulting tenants from NAC properties, as provided for in the respective contractual agreements between NAC and the individual client;
  2. Refusal of landing and departures by aircraft operators, and
  3. Handing over and blacklisting of defaulting customers.
