About this NAC Airport

Boasting a new terminal building inaugurated in 2015, Ondangwa Airport is about eight-five (85) km north of the world-famous Etosha National Park. Given its strategic location at the centre of northern Namibia, Ondangwa Airport gives you access to Oshana, Oshikoto, Ohangwena, Omusati and Kunene regions, the latter, home to the nomadic Ovahimba tribe who resides on the banks of the Kunene river adjacent to the scenic Ruacana Falls.

In 2015, despite the developmental work at the Airport, Ondangwa Airport handled 2 477 aircraft movements and exactly 41 429 passengers.

Ondangwa Airport also provides links to southern Angola and additionally serves as a refuelling stop for flights to Central Africa and beyond.
