Malaria is prevalent in the Northern and Eastern parts of Namibia and travellers are therefore advised to take necessary precaution, especially during the local rainy season, December to April.

Liquid Aerosols and Gels

Upon entering the NAC Airport, kindly ensure that containers of liquids, aerosols or gels in your hand luggage must be 100 ml/100 grams or less. All containers must fit in one (1) clear, closed and resealable plastic bag no more than one (1) litre in capacity. At the screening point, take your plastic bag out of your hand luggage and place it in one of the provided trays. One bag is allowed per passenger.

Any containers over 100 ml should be placed in checked-in baggage.

Medically necessary items and medicines are permitted to be carried in the hand luggage and documentation to support your medical needs or condition is not required; however, if you feel that it would help ease your screening, it should be presented to the screening officer.
