Mr Rudolph R. Rittmann


Rudolph is the Regional Engineer Manager: Maintenance Windhoek Region, Roads Authority: since 2012 which entails Infrastructure System Development; Road Infrastructure Management, Pavement and Traffic Engineering and Evaluation, Road Infrastructure Financing, Project Management, Contract Management, Pavement Engineering, Preservation Management.

Before that Rudolph was Acting Regional Engineer: Windhoek Region at Roads Authority, managing budgets of up to N$300 Million and various Routine and Periodic Maintenance Contracts and participated actively in the drafting of the Roads Bill (to revise the old Road Ordinance of 1972), amongst other positions the same company.

He started off at Roads Authority in 1994 as a Pupil Engineer and then became the Engineer/Snr Engineer: Road Management System; Project Manager for Traffic Monitoring on the National Road Network of Namibia in 2011, amongst others.

Rudolph holds a Masters in Engineering: Transportation Engineering from the University of Cape Town as well the Roads Authority Leadership Development Program by University of Stellenbosch; a Certificate in Road Management from the International Road Federation & University of Birmingham; a Baccalaureus Technologiae Degree: Civil Engineering and a National Diploma Civil Engineering (Cum Laude).
